The BioMix system provides rigorous mixing for a variety of applications in the municipal and industrial markets. The system utilizes a patented product design with proven components to fire short bursts of compressed air through engineered nozzles attached to the bottom of a process tank. Electrical power requirements are very low, consisting of power only needed to run the compressed air source and the electronic BioMix control panel. Programmable Logic Controllers in the BioMix control unit give operators the ability to control the system settings to optimize mixing based on their specific needs, thus gaining additional efficiencies in air consumption and power usage. Recent studies have identified The BioMix system as having a 60%+ reduction in power usage against the leading submersible mechanical mixer in comparably sized applications.
All BioMix installations share the following characteristics:
System components protected within NEMA 4X enclosures
No moving parts in the mixed liquor - all key components above the tank level
Non-clogging, self-cleaning in-tank components
No maintenance of in-tank components
Minimal scheduled maintenance of other components (compressor, air control valves) in controlled environments*
* Note: Compressor maintenance is per the manufacturer's maintenance schedule and may vary with make and model.
Warranty: All system components except for injection nozzles carry a manufacturer's one-year warranty. The injection nozzles are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship for a period of one year after installation. The life expectancy of every component is at least five years of continuous service.
